Keith Reemtsma Lecture Endowment Fund

The International Xenotransplantation Association has developed the Keith Reemtsma Lecture Endowment Fund to enable an eminent scientist who has contributed to the field of xenotransplantation to share his or her research findings at the biennial IXA Congress. The Endowed lectureship will pay travel costs for the invited speaker to attend the IXA Congress.

Endowed in memory of Dr. Keith Reemtsma, this lectureship is awarded at each biennial IXA meeting to an eminent scientist whose contributions to xenotransplantation have earned peer recognition.
Agnes Azimzadeh Award

The International Xenotransplantation Association has developed the Agnes Azimzadeh Award to recognize significant contribution to the field of xenotransplantation by a woman, in honor of the contributions of Agnès M. Azimzadeh, PhD, to the field. This biennial award was established specifically by IXA council to support and foster female researchers who are building their career in Xenotransplantation, or to recognize their accomplishments.
Carl-Gustav Groth Xeno Prize

IXA members are eligible for the Carl-Gustav Groth Xeno Prize. This prize of US $7,000 is jointly sponsored by the International Xenotransplantation Association (IXA) and the publisher of Xenotransplantation (Wiley). The Xeno Prize will be awarded to the first author of the best paper published in the journal Xenotransplantation each calendar year.
